A week in Rome! Just the right amount of time to see the sites and the city.
Tuesday: Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps – rain, play darts, random
Wednesday: Colosseum & the Pantheon
Thursday: Cooking Class
Friday: The Vatican
Everyday: Pasta, pizza, espresso, croissants and an Aperol spritz!
vacation that is. And it started with the Huskers of course!
after a volunteering our flights and getting a later flight, the fun and food started.
more to come….
Fall in Canada was gorgeous – those colors! The weather was brisk but so sunny. Poutine tastes like it looks…..(!)
Food in Philly was on point, but much to the disappointment of Everyone (!) I didn’t eat a Philly Cheesesteak.
I did eat a great pork sandwich at Dinic’s in Reading Terminal Market and a elegant (and supremely buttery) roast chicken at my hotel. Truthfully (sadly) there wasn’t much time to seek out great eats. I always leave a reason to return…(food, mostly to eat more food).
