vacation that is. And it started with the Huskers of course!
after a volunteering our flights and getting a later flight, the fun and food started.
more to come….
My life, one adventure at a time
Eat it, just eat it!
Food in Philly was on point, but much to the disappointment of Everyone (!) I didn’t eat a Philly Cheesesteak.
I did eat a great pork sandwich at Dinic’s in Reading Terminal Market and a elegant (and supremely buttery) roast chicken at my hotel. Truthfully (sadly) there wasn’t much time to seek out great eats. I always leave a reason to return…(food, mostly to eat more food).
Oh how I miss Korean food (and I think Kyle is conveying that he does too!).
Lots of food
Vday dinner
Sharks game
The classiest wine of all time
Winter shadows
Summer-ish weather in late Winter.
Lounging by our apartment pool:
A new yoga mat – SO ridiculously exciting!
Late-ish night at the yoga studio:
A nice brekkie (all our dishes are chipped; we are ceramic people?):
Delicious ramen:
And Davenport Beach, near Santa Cruz – swoon!
Making muffins, eating Chinese food.
Mendoza: huge wine pours, blue skies and warm weather, great food…swoon!
SFO -> Mexico City -> Buenos Aires -> Iguazu Falls -> Cordoba -> Mendoza ->Buenos Aires->Mexico City -> SFO
Mexico City 1: a quick stop-over. Frida Kahlo’s house and her clothes…..swoon…
Buenos Aires: Saying there is a late night culture here is an understatement.
Iguazu Falls: Jungle-y! Lots of water. Prep for wine country.
Mendoza: Heaveni-sh. Ridiculous wine pours (in a good way).
Buenos Aires 2: Palermo! Such a hip area & wish we spent more time here.
Mexico City 2: Breakfast nachos!!!
I don’t think I will ever tire of the sometimes greasy, always interesting foods in China…
some greasy breakfast bun:
Hot pot! I typically despise hot pot, but this place has it going on: Qimin Organic.
The always favorite: wontons. I really have to learn how to make these…
A first: Cheese Tea
