after a volunteering our flights and getting a later flight, the fun and food started.

Fall in Canada was gorgeous – those colors! The weather was brisk but so sunny. Poutine tastes like it looks…..(!)
Eight hours to Vegas and eight hours back. The drive wasn’t too bad (better than paying too much for air tickets), but it’s true that’s it’s a desert out there. Hot, windy, and not so much as a gas station – it was truly a desert trek with a bit of tri tip thrown in:)
Food in Philly was on point, but much to the disappointment of Everyone (!) I didn’t eat a Philly Cheesesteak.
I did eat a great pork sandwich at Dinic’s in Reading Terminal Market and a elegant (and supremely buttery) roast chicken at my hotel. Truthfully (sadly) there wasn’t much time to seek out great eats. I always leave a reason to return…(food, mostly to eat more food).
