Rishikesh in Northern India has a population of around 100,000 and is considered a highly spiritual place in India. The town is small and most activity is centered around the Jhulas or suspension bridges. The town mainly focuses on yoga, hiking and river rafting and below are a few pictures from some walks around town.

Scenes from an evening at Parmarth Niketon where there was an offering to gods in which people sent flowers and candles down the river.
River shot from a walk close to where I’m staying. It’s nice being around nature again!
