A Blood Moon

Sunday was Mid-Autumn Festival in China. While not really a festival to me, my coworkers and Chinese friends were all in delightful moods since it was a ‘holiday’. Traditionally a harvest holiday the day is often spent with families and the tradition is to eat moon cakes on this day.  Moon cakes aren’t exactly what I would call dessert although Kyle did go out of his way to get us some to enjoy on the day. We had tea, held our moon cakes up to the super moon and then had a bite or two of our special made-in-Hong Kong moon cakes.
