So, the Flaming Lips. Kyle and I went to dinner at an Indian restaurant before the concert and knew we were running late so we decided to take a taxi to the concert hall because we had no clue where it was at. Well, the taxi didn’t turn out to be what we thought it was going to be. The driver took us to the wrong place. We have had bad luck with taxis before but Kyle has some sort of bad taxi karma surrounding him (ask him about it…). So we grabbed another taxi and finally made it to the concert albeit late.
To my surprise the concert started almost on time (i.e. 30-40 minutes late). The venue was much smaller than I had expected and there was no opening band. We did get to see a good portion of the concert and the energy and stage show were great.
The concert was great but short and I don’t know if I would go to another one-act concert in Korea again because the tickets were more expensive than I would have liked to pay for the amount of music played. Overall, I’m glad I went and rocked out!
Sorry for the horrible sound quality!
