The (bathroom) Situation

That thing above.  I. hate. it.  Really, I do.  It’s not what you are thinking.  No.  It’s not a urinal; it’s a woman’s restroom in South Korea.  It is the bathroom I have to use everyday, several times a day.  Sorry for this post, but I just wanted to share a bit of South Korea with others.  Yes, some, not all women’s restrooms are urinals on the floor and they are not pleasant to use.  I was none too happy to find out that our very nice, modern school did not have a regular toilet but instead, it had that thing above.  For the most part restuarants and other establishments have regular toilets but it is not uncommon to run into a bathroom like the one above.  Oh, and be sure to bring tissues because the likelihood that there will be toilet paper is slim!
